Notice of Planning Commission Opening

Notice is hereby given that there is an open position on the Town of La Conner Planning Commission.  Planning Commission members serve six-year terms and must be residents of the Town of La Conner. The Town of La Conner will accept applications from any interested, qualified person to serve on the Planning Commission. 

Applications must be submitted to the Town of La Conner, 204 Douglas Street or PO Box 400, La Conner, WA 98257 or by email to planning@townoflaconner.org. For more information, please contact:

Planning Commission Application

Per LCMC Chapter 15.130.020, Planning Commission members are appointed by the Mayor, with approval of the Town Council. 

 Applications will be accepted until January 28, 2022 or until the positions are filled.

Regular Meetings

  • 6 p.m.
  • Third Tuesday of each month
  • Meetings will be held via Zoom until further notice

The Planning Commission is responsible for revising and updating La Conner’s Uniform Development Code and for making decisions relative to a range of land use and planning issues.
