Planning Commission

Notice of Vacancy: Notice is hereby given that there is an open position(s) on the Town of La Conner Planning Commission. Planning Commission members serve six-year terms and must be residents of the Town of La Conner. The Town of La Conner will accept applications from any interested, qualified person to serve on the Planning Commission. Applications must be submitted to the Town of La Conner, 204 Douglas Street or PO Box 400, La Conner, WA 98257 or by email to planner@townoflaconner.org. Per LCMC Chapter 15.130.020, Planning Commission members are appointed by the Mayor, with approval of the Town Council. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Applications may be kept on file for consideration for future openings.

Regular Meetings

• 6 p.m. (unless otherwise noted on the Agenda)
• First and Third Tuesday of each month, and open to the public
• The Planning Commission meetings will be hybrid. They will be held in-person in Upper Maple Center, 104 Commercial St and via livestream on the public portal, unless otherwise noted on the Agenda. Please view the Calendar on the homepage for livestream information.

The Planning Commission is responsible for revising and updating La Conner’s Uniform Development Code and for making decisions relative to a range of land use and planning issues. View the current Uniform Development Code (links to external website).
